The Developmental Day Center provides an inclusive center-based program for children from 18 months to six years of age with, or at risk for, developmental disabilities and for children typically developing. The center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Average teacher to child ratio is 1:5. The center has a five-star rating from the North Carolina Division of Child Development and has earned accrediation from NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children).

Some days the small conversations, just the few minutes of daydreaming with a friend, is special.  This photo was taked on our Summer Field day with our friends from Cisco Systems.

Then back into the classroom for some painting with our fingers.  Fun to watch our fingers wriggle in the paint!!!
