“When my husband and I were fostering our now adopted son, we were having problems with him acting out. We had no idea what to do or where to go for help. After enrolling him in Learning Together, we were put in touch with their Child Mental Health Initiative and things started getting better. Licensed social workers worked with us as a family by showing us how to identify his trigger points and how to avoid them or help us to work through them. They worked with our son, one on one, by showing him how to use his words, instead of striking out in anger, among other techniques. The Child Mental Health Initiative at Learning Together has been a Godsend to my family.”
