Learning Together Welcomes Janet Tedder to Board of Directors
(RALEIGH, N.C.) — Learning Together, a private nonprofit that meets the developmental, educational and health needs of children of all abilities, is proud to announce Janet Tedder to its Board of Directors.
“We are honored to welcome Janet to our board,” said Nell Barnes, Executive Director at Learning Together. “As a parent of a child who received services at Learning Together, she will bring an invaluable perspective as we continue to grow and serve children of all abilities.”
Janet Tedder became involved with Learning Together after her daughter was diagnosed with autism and a submucous cleft palate. Her daughter demonstrated improvements in all areas of development through her time with Learning Together and transitioned into a regular kindergarten class this fall.
“It is a great honor for me to be asked to serve on their board,” said Janet. “I hope I can give back half as much as what Learning Together has given to my family.”
Janet, a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina, has spent the last three years with Connexion Technologies as a compliance manager and liaison between their sales and legal departments. She has been a paralegal for 28 years.
