Paul Neal's Personal Board Page

Dear Friends & Colleagues,

If you are reading this, you have taken the first step in helping young children in our community.  In December 2010, a colleague was leaving the area and asked if I would take his position as Treasurer at Learning Together.  After finding out more about the organization, and meeting with the Staff & Board Members, I couldn’t say no.   Since I don’t have any kids of my own, I want to help our future generations as much as I can.  By helping, nurturing and teaching children at a young age, they are better prepared for their future.  Learning Together is special because their classrooms are inclusive with children that may have a development concern and with children that are typically developing.  This allows the children to learn from each other and understand their differences.

My wife and I support Learning Together in their mission and vision any way we can.  Most people think that helping a non-profit organization can only be done financially.  This is not true.  Giving of yourself, donating your time, knowledge, or skills can help the children and staff of Learning Together.  Don’t get me wrong, a financial donation is also helpful and appreciated.

Please take time to review more of our website.  Be sure to review the “Programs” page to see what we have to offer your child or someone you may know.  The “About Us” page will share with you the mission and vision of Learning Together.  Lastly, don’t leave the website without reviewing the “Get Involved” page.  You can help the children of Raleigh in many different ways.  They are the future of our community, and they need your help.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Paul Neal
