Our certified developmental day center and community of resources empower children with and without developmental delays and their families with the tools and skills essential for a life of learning and success.

About Us

For more than 50+ years, Learning Together has pioneered inclusive early childhood education and supported underserved communities.

Our “Super-Inclusive” approach co-teaches children with and without disabilities or delays and reserves spaces for children with diverse racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Learning Together layers evidence-based curricula, onsite therapies, family advocacy, and systems-change strategies to build a strong academic infrastructure.

Our new “Classrooms of the Future” provides high-quality adaptive learning environments encouraging independence, creativity, and a love of learning.

Our lead teachers are Birth-Kindergarten licensed, we maintain smaller ratios, and our play-based curricula is reinforced with social-emotional learning to strengthen a child’s academics, compassion, and adaptability to differentiated learning styles.

Beyond the center, families receive support through screenings, home visits, school partnership days, outreach events, parent workshops, partner resources, and referrals. We also support anyone inquiring from our community without the stipulation of applying or being enrolled.

As an industry leader and a resource hub, our work aims to systemically advance North Carolina’s ability to meet federal special education mandates and address the growing need for equitable and inclusive services among underserved communities.
